The Battle Bricks Battler Compare tool is live for role and verification comparison. Use the stats calculator when you want to enter your own HP, damage, rate, armor, resistance, and cost values.
Source labels: official means first-party or official media; community means Fandom, speedrun, or reviewed community context; needs-hands-on means the unit is important but still needs current patch testing.
How to read a comparison
The Battle Bricks Battler Compare tool is not a final tier list. It shows what the database currently knows about two units and, just as important, what still needs verification. A unit with a community label can be useful as a research target, but it should not become upgrade advice until a stage page proves where that unit works.
Use the role, unlock note, and caution field together. If one battler has a clearer unlock path but no stats, compare it with a battler that has a stronger role note. Then open the related stage page to see whether either unit has proof for the difficulty, star target, or route you are trying to clear.
What this tool can and cannot prove
A comparison can help narrow the next page to read, but it cannot prove a best battler by itself. The current database deliberately separates official media, community context, and hands-on gaps. If both units are marked community or needs-hands-on, the correct next step is to collect stage evidence rather than upgrading immediately.
The strongest comparison result is one that points to a verified stage route. For example, a reward unit becomes more useful when its unlock is confirmed, its alt form is checked, and a stage page shows where that role matters. Until those links exist, the compare tool should be treated as a research board for planning tests and avoiding unsupported tier-list claims.
When new data is added, each battler should keep the same fields: source label, current verification date, unlock note, role, best-use tags, and caution text. That consistency makes it easier to spot stale entries after Chapter 5 updates or balance changes.
